Harvest Spirits Distillery While I lived in rural New York last year one place I frequented, besides the Claverack Library, was Golden Harvest farm. I have an undeniable sweet tooth and warm cider donuts are one of my absolute favorites. Last Friday Eme farted. This is not an abnormal occurrence anywhere for anyone, but what happened next is definitely something I have never experienced. Eme blamed it on the basil. [...] Mystery Plant and tomato plants Wednesday night Miss Whatsit and I stole* food. The best kind of food. Not from the co-op nor was it for the noble purpose of feeding the starving (although if everything goes well we could). We stole them because we want to work on our green thumbs. I [...] Arguments are a part of life. I accept that. What I have a hard time accepting is why some arguments happen. Here are three examples of pointless arguments in which I eventually gave in because it was as pointless as willing wings to grow out of your back. Froud came back, the computer in the co-op refused to turn off (then turn on then turn off again), Clark dropped a box of eggs (of which only eleven of the twenty or so broke), I spent the afternoon [...] This week whizzed by with most of the notable things happening on Friday. Froud went back home for the weekend and Fester went on a weekend getaway to Chatham. I found out there is are two other bloggers here in Camphill Village- however only one blogs in English. I also was told by Wesley [...] Giselle and I made sushi this evening for supper in Omaskos. I hadn’t realized I was helping prepare dinner until well after sushi making was under way. The two Camphill firsts I experienced today were being invited to a meal at a different house and Bible evening. I’m sure that every house does mealtimes [...] Last Saturday I went out to the Colombia County Farm Festival which was being held at Golden Harvest Farms in Valatie (pronounced Va-lay-sha), NY.
